Bad fuel pump?injectors?battery?alternator? Please help!
EDIT: 11/25/04 just a quick, updated summary of the problem:
my car wont start. i have no spark, no fuel. I replaced the fuel pump and took apart the main relay (it looked fine). Are there any fuses for the fuel pump? i looked all over the diagrams but couldnt see one for the fuel pump. I really need my car bc ive been without it for a week now and was hoping that the fuel pump would fix it, but no luck. I have a jdm b18c in an eg but its been running fine for months so it shouldnt be any problems with the grounds.
the plugs, plug wires, dist. cap & rotor are all pretty new..... please help!
Just so you know, i already searched through probably about 100threads and im still not satisfied with what ive found so i am seeking everyones advice/thoughts/any feedback.

it could be one of the few things you mentioned above. turn your key into the 'on' position and you will hear a faint noise coming from the rear of the car (kind of like a humming sound). another way to check is to unbolt fuel line from the fuel rail and turn the key to see if fuel shoots out. also check to see if there's spark, and that could be your problem.
wow well cingular sucks. when i got my cell phone 3months ago i asked for road side assistance so today when i called they said i didnt have it. i ended up having to pay $95 to get my car towed 12miles back to my damn house!
anyways after playing with my car a bit and checkin the fuel line im pretty sure its the fuel pump bc the line was dry (nothing was comin out and im pretty sure it was the right line). i also couldnt hear a humming noise from the fuel pump area so I think im going to buy the walbro 190 fuel pump with install kit. I think it comes with a new wires and filter as well. I found it on ebay for $90 shipped brand new if anyone is interested.
Anyways the fun part that im not 100% on is the install. I found a thread that has a great link with directions and pictures and it looks fairly simple but i just have one question. When I take the old fuel line and bad pump to put the new line and new pump in, is fuel going to get everywhere and is there a way to prevent that? I just dont like the thought of having the whole inside of my car smellin like gas.
Well, i'm going to stop rambling bc my only two posts on this thread are long as hell and i dont want to put you to sleep.

uhhh i can tell you where it is on a teg. its in the same place though. its a brown box with a wireing harness plug into it fromthe bottom. its is just south (closer to the driver) of the fues box (inside the car). oh and the fuel pump install is a breeze. not messy and when you take the old one out just have a paper towel for gas evaporates so its won't be dripping.

i found a black box just right by the fuse box. it was kind of above the little pannel that u pull down to get to the fuses and has the diagram drawn on it. it has a little pigtail harness thing on it....is that it? it has a bunch of wire colors written on it.

nm search ownz me! i found the relay and took it off but now i cant figure out how to take it apart to make sure everything inside is fine and that nothing needs to be soldered. i am flat broke right now bc i just bought i lap top so i need to try and fix this myself and i just need to know how to take the relay apart. i read something about prying it open with a flathead but im kinda nervous about doin that bc i dont want to break it and i dont really see a good place to start prying at.

ok. forget the part where i said i have spark, bc when my dad was looking over it with me today and he pulled out one of the plugs when i was trying to start the car, he said there was no spark.....so my car has no spark and no fuel........ when i took apart the main relay, everything looked fine...nothing looked burnt or anything and didnt seem like it needed to be re-soldered....im really confused

also can someone answer my previous question about what fuses to check? i checked the diagram to all of my fuses and could not find anything for the fuel pump.

Try cheaking the fuses under the hood...The ECU Fuse could be burnt...I believe it the fuse in the very top left hand corner of the fuse box....Then Try and swap ECUs if that doesnt work...Should be one of those things....
wow, that's crazy, i had the same problem a few months ago, when you turn your car onto the accessory position you should hear the fuel pump whine (meaning it's feeding fuel to the injectors, you should hear it inside the car as well as outside) if you hear that noise then you have obviously got fuel. My bet on this is if you have no spark at all, it is your DISTRIBUTOR COIL, because that is what provides the spark my friend, let me know what's up with it!!!!

you said that you had look at main relay, but did you resolder all the joints?

I had the same prb all I did was checked my grounds, there is one under the throtle body next to the starter that is the one that came loose on me. I wasnt getting fuel no spark but the car would sond like it wanted to turn over. Check your grounds. That is all I can say. You will also know if the fuel pump is working by turning the car to the acc position, your check engine light will come on breifly and you will hear the fuel pump, that is the fuel pump priming the motor the check engine light will then shut off. If your check engine light doesnt come on then CHEK YOUR GROUNDS!!
