civic lsi vtec 1996 3 door hatchback.

since ive had the head gasket replaced idle fluctuates between 1000 -200.
When i come to a stop idles low and sometime stalls. Stalling increases if a put my foot down. Things ive done are:
throttle body cleaned
sparkys changed
ecu reset
air intake screw adjusted
vacuum pipes checked
Sometimes the car feels really rough and other times ok whilst idling. Usually happens when engine is warm. No engine light..
is this technical or what

 

I have the same problem.

 

I got the same problem and it is getting annoying. It comes and goes tho. It'll drive fine for a week or so then out of nowhere my idle fluctuates and it stalls..then I lose power steering and all that, plus it makes me look like I stalled.

Idle Air Control Valve........do yourselves a favor and try hitting the button at the top right of your screen that says "SEARCH"

 

I have an aftermarket OBX intake maifold (please dont flame i know its garbage it came with the car) and my car idles up and down but only in park its weird and annoying will get my swap soon thats the only reason i havnt put a oem maifold on it.

you probably don't even need it replaced. Check it, and clean it

The low rpms while stopped though sounds like it might be a sealing problem with your gaskets. I would check those too

GL with that, **** happened to me a while back and the fluctuating idle is sooooo damn annoying
