i am removing a gsr head and i have taken off all 10 long bolt from the head, i want to know is there any other bolts that is preventing the head from coming off its block. i've taken off the headers, cam shafts, cam gears, distributor. thanks.

 

Well there are only those bolts. But more than likely you are snagging on a water hose or sensor plug or something along those lines. Maybe the intake manifold support bracket or something. Of course those dowel pins make it a really tight fit and providing everything is off that may be your only issue.

 

oh thanks yeah, the head is wanted to come off if you lift it up, but it does seem like somthing is holding the intake manifold down on the left side of the manifold, how many support bracket are there under the manifold?
