Default HIDs for JDM front end high beam??

Anyone have pics of how they mounted their HID kits on their JDM front end HIGH beams?

Probably not because the low beam HID's are more than enough for night driving. I've probably only used my high beams a handful of times since I upgraded to HID.

yeah I don't really get the whole hid high beam thing. Totally unnecessary, the oem hids give me plenty of light, and the once or twice I've used the high beams, regular bulbs were just fine.

With a proper set of HIDs I doubt anyone would honestly need HIDs for High beams.
But a much cheaper solution would be installing 100 watt bulbs, they kick *** and light up much quicker then HIDs.

for more info on watt bulbs check here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=773875

That and why would anyone want HID "high beam" retrofits when it's going to be next to useless if you're trying to flash someone?

And you guys kept gettin flashed by loads of oncomming traffic last week to and from LRP.

Gotta say though I always kinda get jealous when everyone except for me has HID's. They are just so much better than stock lighting.

And I flashed those knuckleheads right back. Not my fault if they don't know how to avert their eyes away instead of looking directly at the brightest light source like a moth to a flame.

Want to know something? One of the requirements that I had when I was searching for the Hype R replacement was that the new car must have factory HIDs.

*shrug*

I'm just going by my experience with HID retrofits. After they're warmed up, sure, the flash feature might be useful. How often are high beams used and warmed/primed (HID retrofit) in most situations? Again, just my humble opinion.

Then again, how often do people actually mod their car for functionality nowadays ...

As soon as a quality high/low beam kit for the DC2 comes out I'm buying one.

Those of you that say you wouldn't/don't use the high beams don't drive through the country roads I do. PITCH BLACK and roo's all over the place. I want so much light I can into the side of the roads!!!
