Default CAR PROBLEM NEED HELP.

all i want to know is why does my car choke when the car is warmed up. like when step on gas the car will go but all of a sudden it chokes. i feels like its not going and its going to die then all of a sudden it picks back up again. i can't seem to figure out what is the problem. if anyone has had this problem please tell me so i could fix my car. it also feels like its studdering.

also my head gasket that i have used for 3 weeks now has been leaking oil from where the head meets the block. i was wonder if i could re-use the same head gasket. its only been on the motor for about 3 weeks.

about your car "chocking" and "stuttering", can you be a little more specific. Like does it happen at a certain rpm, what does it do exactly...

ok it starts "chocking" or "studdering" like around 2 to 3000 rpm. then after that it picks up. it only happens when the car is warmed up. also i went to buy a MSD external coil and the problem is still happening.

I've had a similar problem but it was happening at around 4k on a vtec motor. Turns out there was moisture that was trappen in the spark plug boot (all of that crazy rain) Try driving your car around then removing the spark plug wires over night to let the dry out.

Its worth a shot.

good luck

well i took the head to a machine shop to do a vaccum test or bent valves and they say that one of my intake valve seems like it has little vaccum. they say that could cause the car to mis-fire sometimes. can that be the cause or is there some thing else?
