Default Anyone using a Quaiffe on their EP or RSX?

Any comments from the personal experience crowd?
Also, did it require an additional speedo-gear like the DC5r LSD does?

I've got one on my S/C'd EP, and absolutely love it. It is the perfect mod as far as I am concerned. No downsides except for the cost. You can't even tell it is there until you start to put power down, and then both wheels turn, not just one. Especially coming out of a turn, the car just pulls its way through now where before it just lit up the inside.

As far as the additional speedo gear, I am not certain as I had it installed by someone else, but I don't think it does require one.

Thanks for the reply Lucid, it would be great if you found out about the gear.
Also, do you know if you used your old bearings? Or did you get new ones?

Well, I went ahead and picked up my ACT and Quaife combo, thanks to Sheng, Willie, Tony @ JHP, they were able to get it with in a day. Talk about fast service.
So, the install begins tomorrow after work
Hope I finish in time for the EP challenge @ Willowsprings.

I know I am using the factory bearings. I'll see what I can find out about the speedo gear.

What clutch did you get? I've got the ACT extreme duty pressure plate with their improved street disk, and prolite flywheel. Overkill I know, but it feels nice.

I went with the Heavy duty pp and Street disc.
I will be adding just the stock RSX S flywheel.
BTW- did your clutch kit come with the bearings and alignment tool?
I just opened mine and they werent included

Talk to ACT this morning and was told that the bearings and alignment tool are dealer items.
So yes, you only get the PP and disc.

in every ACT "kit" i've seen the alignment tool and bearings are included. ACT makes them all, in fact the alignment tools and the bearings are pictured on the box in the picture above! I have never seen a kit for the K series though.

The LSD usually runs just under $1k, although it can sometimes be found for around $900, I can't rember the price of the clutch for me exactly, but I think it was about $600 for the clutch and flywheel combo.
