basically it takes a long time to heat up and as soon as I start driving it cools back down. Searched and found this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1032849 but wanted to get some more info before I replaced my thermo again. I already replaced my thermo with an autozone special and it does the same thing now as it did before i replaced my thermo.....and my old one gets stuck open(tested in hot water), so it couldve been bad.
Get an OEM one. I had the same problem last winter... really sucked cause on the really cold days I couldn't get enough heat to keep the interior warm. After replacing the old thermostat with a brand new OEM Honda part - problem solved.
If you compare the autozone part with the OEM part you'll see a BIG difference in construction. Thermostat is one place where it's not worth it to save the $10 bux. (Seriously, even from the dealer they aren't that expensive)

yea I noticed how shitty the autozone special was when I pulled out the oem one. But it was late and I needed it done, so autozone was the place of choice. Im gonna swing by the dealer tomorrow and pick one up.
