ATF fluid change. searched archived and normal and came up w/ 2 threads..
does anyone know where i can find how exactly how to change the ATF fluid? i checked on http://www.team-integra.net, on here, g2ic, and found nothing.
can someone help me on this please? i checked the fluid and its extremly low. and i dont want to fill it up, instead i want to change the fluid or go get it done.
is this part of the "winterizing" process that you can go get done?

disconnect the transmission line from the radiator (make sure that you have the new fluid ready) start the car. the fluid will start to drain out, as it does pour the new fluid in. when the fluid coming out is the color of the fluid going in you are done. (this works better if you can have someone help you) then turn the engine off and check the level. if its to low then add some, if its to high with the line off start the motor and drain more out until the level is correct. Its kind of messy and a pain in the *** but it works.
this is all assuming that your car is ---->AUTOMATIC <---- if its manual you dont have those lines to the radiator.
otherwise get the $80 and get a transmission flush at your local Quick Lube (Valvoline, jiffy lube, ect.)
