I drive a 1992 Civic DX Hatchback and is planning to get the JDM B16A engine. I'm wondering if its required to change out the stock DX shift linkage for the JDM B16A shift linkage? I'm not really sure but I met a guy who had to take his EX shift linkage out and replace it with the ones that'll fit his new B18C engine.

as states in the auto to manual post, use a del sol VTEC shift linkage.

 

the del sol linkage DOES NOT work for a 96-up civic...I know that first hand...it's about 6 inches too long.

I'm hitting the strip soon as its done, and I'm building a carbon fiber panty catcher to go on the side of it too!!!

use an integra shift linkage. si will work as well.......I just think the integra linkage will be easier to come by
