Help with rear brakes 1988 lude
I pulled off the rear wheels, removed the calipers, took old pads off, put new ones into place, and WTF now it doesen't go on the rotor. I then walked into the garage, grabed a "C" clamp in order to compress the "you know," only it would not compress. I removed the reservoir cap, and loosened the nipple behind the caliper(I slipped a hose with brake fluid over the nipple prior to loosening to prevent air from getting into the line)but it still will not compress.
I now have learned that these rear calipers don't compress, but rotate.....how exactyl do I rotate them? Thank you for your help.

There is a tool for it, looks like a spiked cube with holes in it, thats the easiest way. Or get some needle nose pliers or a screwdriver. Just try stuff.
those calipers are not ment to be compressed you can ruin the caliper like that. u have to turn it. theres a brake tool kit for rear brakes. sure saved my *** a few times. i had a old 86 prelude.
