Default Help me estimate repair costs...56k OK

My gf was driving my car and rearended a Jeep. The pictures will do all the explaining. What I mainly wanted to know is if the part that the lights are housed into (radiator support?) can be tweaked back into shape or does it need an all new one and then how much it would cost. So if any of you body work guys could take a look at the pics and give me an idea of the work involved and the cost to get it looking right again.

Its my Beater so it doesnt really bother me that it got damaged. However, I would like to have it looking as it should if possible. It runs great, interior is damn near mint, and the AC will freeze your ***, so Id like the exterior to atleast somewhat reflect what the rest of the car is like if possible.

doesn't look that bad...any bodyshop should be able to pull back the upper radiator support for a small amount of fee but might have some paint chips. O yeah, a new hood

if you dont care about it and its your beater i would just use a bungee cord to hold down your hood.

i did the same thing 4 years ago in my 91 ls, exept mine was a little worse, costed me about 1500 to fix it it consisted of.... a set of JDM 1-piece headlights, c-wings carbon fiber hood, two oem replacement fenders and replacement bumper ( didnt get them painted), new bumper support and bumper lenses and the core support just got pulled out not replaced looked good as new. You dont need all those parts so i would just get the support pulled out and a carbon fiber hood, i hope your 1-pieces are ok, i would have killed if they were damaged

Thanks for the replies.

Nope that is not the Jeep she rearended.

I mainly wanted to know whether the bent metal piece that holds the lights could be bent out or needed to be completely replaced. I might end up going CF hood if I cant find a used OEM hood. Luckily the one pieces are fine.

Thanks for all the responses. I was planning on getting a new paintjob within the next few months anyway so it kinda works out I guess. I plan on doing all the prep work if possible and then having a shop do the spraying since I dont have access to a booth or a sprayer.

Anyone in GA selling a hood for a DA?

i rearended my girlfriend's brother's jetta while driving in the rain.. ugh.. anyways it looks like you have almost the same damages i had.. it cost me 1100 to fix everything.. went with a vis cf hood instead of getting an oem one, had to get a new headlight because my old one was fucked up, and i had to get my radiator support pulled back up and fixed 'cuz it was bent down.. didnt need to replace it.. i didnt replace my front bumper yet which still has two holes in it from the dual tip exhaust on his jetta anyways good luck with your DA
