Default yesterday was so damn great...

I was driving back home from dropping a friend off at LAX, well about a mile outside of delano on the 99 at about 9:40am going 70mph, I tapped some of the gravel in the center median overcorrected getting out of the gravel slid across the northbound lanes(I was going north, so I didn't cross oncoming traffic) and took out a 30ft section of metal fencing.

this is the only pic I have so far, and it was taken with my camera phone.. it does not show all the damage.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet... she is rebuildable, just need to replace the front bumper, hood, driver fender, fix the deep gouges and scratches on the roof, and fix my quarterpanel... I don't think I want to rebuild her, so I may be parting it out.. still thinkin at the moment.

Be more careful. I'm sorry about your luck, but it seems like you made a noobie driver error and just stopped paying attention for a moment. Sadly, that's all it takes.

yea, that's pretty much it... I'm happy no one else was caught up in my mistake, I just wish my car didn't take the grunt of everything...

the fence went over the car, the metal bars holding the fence went under.. and they didn't separate without a fight.

didn't pay attention for a fraction of a second and didn't realize the road had a slight curve to the right.
