Default seat belt problem

Well I just noticed that whenever I start my car and have the seatbelt off, the indicator light doesnt go off, same goes for when Im driving and take the seatbelt off, the light just doesnt turn on. I noticed this happened after I had a basic headunit installed. Does this mean anything significant as far as my seatbelt goes or could it be a simple fuse?

dude, a light won't say anything about a defective seatbelt. anyway, check under your driver seat to make sure the indicator wire is connected.

Check to make sure the wires are still connected under the seat.

FYI -- the seatbelts are warrantied life of the car.

It's the only wire (actually a pair of wires) that would be found underneath your seat.
