Dang I'm feeling pissy (and I do have on my fire suit), but there isn't any such thing as a Helm's manual!
Helms is a company that re-prints the Factory manual and sells them under license issued by Honda. They don't write anything (other than a billing invoice). You will not see their name printed on the manuals anywhere.
The link is; http://www.helminc.com
That off my chest;
In order to remove the headliner, several of the plastic side pieces have to be removed first. There is also a retaining piece along the front and back.
There are a couple plastic clips that go upward through the headliner and into the cross-bracing.
The clips are plastic and don't count on being able to re-use all of them. They tend to break.
And ya, it's best to have the "factory" manual to see where all the clips are.
