Default Increasing gas mileage?

I was just wondering aht are some aftermarket parts you can buy to increase the gas mileage of your integra. I think getting I/H/E will probably do that but does anybody know how much it increases by? Also are there any other parts that will increase as well? Thanks for the input.

a larger gas tank!

jk, the best improvements you can make in your gas mileage have to do with your style of driving (eg. driving without ac, using cruise control, etc.) and care for you car (eg. cleaning injectors). there are a number of threads you can read tips about how to improve your gas mileage, just search for them in the archives.

Intake = 1-1.5mpg
exhaust = 1-2mpg
tornado/throttle body spacer = 1-2mpg (good only for mpg...not good for performance or vtec.)

Max you'll get with all these is about 3-4mpg since japan engines are VERY efficient already.

Remember that rpms and throttle position are the key determining factors for mpg...

ohh..I forgot one...larger diameter tires, not good for performance and will throw your speedo/odometer off, but will help with milage.

Please tell me how in the world larger diameter tires are going to increase your mileage, it will make it worse. Its just like putting huge tires on an SUV, it makes the gas mileage worse.

i used tornado (as seen on TV product) and it works and also looks of maintenance ish... fuel injectors cleaners.. engine restore and regular oil change.. and also driving

best time that i get the most out of my gas is after 2 days of oil change and a new full tank....and last for a good month to 2 months...

shift below 3000rpm in all gears, shift into neutral on hills....I drove with a busted radiator 300 miles, never drove faster than 60mph, hit vtec twice the whole journey, and managed 46mpg in my last JDM Si Integra (same as GSR)
