Default Shredded rear sprocket (pic)

Went riding with Mase yesterday (I blame him). He pops a couple wheelies... I go to pop it up in second and start to hear some wierd stuff. I quit doin it since I know my chain isn't in the best of shape. Get a little further and pull over to look at it. Notice that some of the teeth are gone. Limp home, pull the sprocket to find:

Count em, there's 3.75 teeth left

Anyone else ever shredded a sprocket?

Unless you buy a huge sprocket, expect to keep buying them and/or new clutches if you keep on wheel'n around.

Nah, I never wheelie. No doubt, I'm to blame though, I put off getting a new chain too long. That sprocket is only 2 teeth up from stock though, 41 vs 39 (TL1000R). Just going to stick with stock size as the thing has no problem coming off the ground.

TL1000R is a nice bike to wheelie! Just give it a quick dose of throttle and you can keep it in the air for quite a while!

Sprockets don't go bad in a day unless you are ridin pretty hard! Anyways, a loose chain will definitely kill the sprocket!
