JUN or TODA****FLYWHEEL****
I'd say the Comptech is the lightest @ 6.7lbs.
It's much nicer quality than the Fidanza.. but for the money, Fidanza can't be beat. And there are ZERO problems with starter grind and FIdanza.

I have a bud with a JUN flywheel in his hatch and he has a problem getting it started sometimes. We usually have to push his car back and forth to get it started.
ohh that sux.... i heard about jun having problems but none like that. I would expect those kind of problems from such a high priced product and big name company.
I own a 10 lb Jun light chromoly FW and can confirm the starter teeth mesh mismatch problem. The engine won't kick over when you turn the ignition since the starter teeth doesn't catch and mesh. It takes several turns of the ignition or rolling your car forwards or backwards. You can overcome this problem if you already own a Jun by having the teeth notched by a machine shop.
I suggest you look at any of the alternative FW's listed here. I prefer chromoly just because of the strength differential to aluminum.
The Comptech chromoly sounds interesting.
cheers
