I was just wondering, stock against stock, who would win considering that the drivers are both equal?? Me, with my bone stock 94 Teg RS (mods are on the way but as for now ive got nothing). Or my friends 2002 Audi A4?? The only reason why i am askin is cuz he says his car is faster, but i dont wanna race and find out that it is. i know that he has more hp than i do, but its also heavier isnt it??? I tried to search A4's but nothing came up thanks

 

From a standing start, 1/4mile you would beat him. But once it goes to the freeway, it's over for you. He will start walking away from you. Especially if he chips the car.

im pretty confident that an A4 would win unfortunately - don't a4's have 3 diff trims - 1.8t, 1.8, and 2.8?
i think the only thing you could compete with is the 1.8 - 1.8t and 2.8(a6 engine) will win

 

actually 1.8T, 3.0. I am pretty sure both of them will walk you...

1.8t are slooow.. kept stock on a straight up 1/4 mile.
If it had an exhaust and a chip, I don't think you'd stand a chance.

 

I've driven both and the A4 will beat the integra all day. They come with two engine options the 1.8t and the 2.8 v-6. The 1.8t is quick and the all wheel drive helps out a bunch. good luck on that race

 

A chipped VW Golf 1.8t with 3" exhaust killed my R by about 5 cars when mine was still stock. They are quick.

 

well stock the 1.8t runs around mid 16's in the 1/4 mile.

 

Heh those 1.8T motor's are said to be one of the most tunable european motors yet for power.. I got a friend with a 1.8T diesel and he walks all over all the other 4cyls daily but it's because of the torque factor he has like maybe 145 hp at the wheels but has well over 220 ft-lb of torque 2nd gear goes up in smoke all day long.. as for the LS vs A4 I am willing to put money on the A4 just because it is new.. and your's is a 94 wear and tear on the engine/tranny etc all have a bit of play in that where he is new and everything is good right now.. as for will your car outlast his? you will win there

 

Keep in mind the A4's are quite heavy.

The 02 1.8T weights 3252 lbs for the front wheel drive, and 3406 for the Quattro/AWD

That is with 170hp

 

yea I've seen 1.8t's with chips and still only running mid 15's

I've raced my friend in his leased '02 A4 Quattro 5-speed. I smoked him from 0-130....they are heavy as ****. He even dropped the clutch like a man off the line, but I still got him. You'll have no problems, I was stock at the time. My friend weighed his S4 3800llb with NO DRIVER.....You'll win hands down. Powershifting is the key

aight, it was today... We started off and he had me off the line (my launch was bad, to much slipping and not enough grip where as the 4 wheel drive took over for him) Then second gear and he still had me by probabaly 1/2 car length, and then he missed 3rd and i took off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He wants a rematch but i dont wanna push my luck.

if its an A4 1.8 u should beat him. my friend has a 2001 a4 1.8 chipped/ hes got me off line but on the highyway i got him by nearly 3/4 car length. that car is much heavier

 

LS should win, specially with a good driver. Audi's are too darn heavy

 

THe 1.8t should win especially if chipped i got walked on at 110 by an A4 when i used to drive a modded ls

 

BTW how fast are the Auto LS/RS b/c I am picking one up tommorrow? BTW Its a 96 RS Auto that my parents got me **sigh**. Well at least I have two cars.

manual: 3252 lbs
auto: 3362 lbs

for the quattro:

manual: 3406 lbs
auto: 3550 lbs

all that weight and 170 hp.....hmmm....your integra weighs 600 to 700 lbs less. Then again, stats are stats, just race his *** again!!!

 

Quarter mile times vary from 15.9 to 16.6. Go to the Audi website. They've got all the stats. I'm tired of cutting and pasting...lol.

 

maybe you should ask how SLOW they are because they are very slow compare to the 5 speed. Over 1 sec slower in the 1/4
