Great racing as usual!
David Karner in his S2k won on Saturday, and Sam in his EG won on Sunday!
No pics, but I'm sure other people will cover that!

Just got back, and tired. Will give full report and video soon. Had a very rough weekend. Swapping tranny, few broken axles, and electrical short. Didn't finish both race, didn't get to qualify or run in any practice session.

Weekend went great . I took the win on saturdays race and won the WCHC H4 Championship. Sundays race was great as well it was a 3 way fight for 1st place with many position changes unfortunatley i got contact by one other H4 competitor and bent my right trailing arm and took me out of the race. PIcs and videos will come soon when i get home from work today.

It was one of the best wheel to wheel racing I seen for a long time. Congrats to Edik for winning the WCHC H4 Championship, Its been a long year but pit crew members like me and Harut never gave up on you. " WE DID IT "
I did not pay much attention to the H1 competitors, so will only comment on the H4 racing, mine in particular
Overall the weekend went pretty well. We were greeted with rain Saturday morning. The 8AM practice session was completely wet with drops still falling. Many, including myself, decided to sit out the session as the weather was expected to move out of the area and allow a dry qualifying session and final race.
The rain did stop, but qualifying began on a wet track. My car felt particularly good on the slick track and allowed me, at one point, to pass and leave the Karner S2000 (Saturday’s eventual H1 race winner). However the drying track meant faster and faster times as the session progressed allowing the H1 cars to put the power down more effectively. But I still managed third overall and 5+ seconds faster than the next H4 competitor!
The H4 championship battle was still up for grabs with E. Stepanyan in the driver’s seat. All he had to do to seal the deal was finish each race and score full points (finish at least half distance). A Saturday win would clinch it for him. J. Tecce and myself both had a mathematical possibility to claim the title but in reality he and I were fighting for second.
Tecce managed an awesome start and took the early lead. I was shuffled back to third at the completion of lap two and the three of us continued were nose to tail until lap five when a broken front hub cut my race short and eliminated any championship possibilities. By finishing ninth and only receiving half points, a top-3 in the championship was now in jeopardy.
Tecce and Stepanyan battled hard, swapping positions back and forth until Tecce had a small off giving Stepanyan enough breathing room to cross the line first and capture the 2004 WCHC H4 Championship. Tecce crossed the line in second with WCHC part timer M. Escobar in third.
The weather continued to throw us a curve on Sunday. This time it was fog, which forced the cancellation of the first practice and qualifying sessions. The grid was to be set based on the previous day’s race results. This meant I would have to start 16th out of 18 HC cars. No worries though. Finding the parts to repair my car was nearly impossible. At one point I was ready to give up when fellow HC racer Gus Heredia came through with a spare hub giving me the chance to make the race. I would have missed practice and qualifying anyway, so starting at the back was what I was expecting.
The race was probably the most intense I have experienced in my racing career. I was able to finish fourth in H4 after battling hard with some slower H1 cars that did not have the pace in the turns but had power to make life hard on the straights. Fourth place was about what I thought I could manage. And to get there I had to pass, on track, five H4 cars and four H1 cars, plus lapped cars. The result was enough to seal third in the championship.
While I was battling at the back, the battle for the lead was raging. T. Okihisa was able to grab the lead at some point early on with Stepanyan and Tecce in hot pursuit. An off-and-on hurt Tecce’s chances, but he was able to reel Stepanyan back in. The hard fought battle for second ended with contact between the two. A damaged right rear suspension put Stepanyan out of the race. Tecce continued on undamaged to finish second behind Okihisa while Escobar capped a great weekend with another podium finish.
So Edik Stepanyan is the 2004 WCHC H4 Champion. Unofficially John Tecce is second, but if found at fault for contact and disqualified, he will drop to fourth behind myself and Thomas Okihisa.
If any of the above is incorrect, I apologize. Feel free to correct me or add any details.
It was a great year with great racing, especially in H4. There were 21 different competitors racing through the season, with five different drivers scoring at least one win. I can’t wait until next year where I predict we will see a 20+ H4 field.

Hi guys,
I don't have pictures yet either, but definately working on them.
The S2000 was great, good enough to win on Sat. thanks to the help of Mr. Shawn Church.
Sunday, I unfortnately spun while leading and went pretty far down.
I had to claw my way back up and by the time the last lap came around, I was in third, right behind the leaders.
On the last lap I was able to get past Ryan after he made a mistake and ended up finishing right behind Sam's bumper.
Either way, it was a good weekend and can't wait for next year.
Thanks to Dr. Rouch for helping out on Sunday.

Dennis,
do tell the stories. I would like to hear it from spectator view. I thought I gave a good run and would probably catch Team Endless if I didn't break. Although passing him will be another story.
