While I was searching for a new pair of everyday/riding boots... I came across this short documentary about a guy named Whylee from the Dr.Marten website.
There's no direct link so just click on the Veer tab, and then scroll down to Whylee.

I always hear about guys wearing Timberlands but personally I like Docs a bunch more.

Just bought my new Dr.Martens for everyday/riding boots.

$99 on their site.
Anyone thats had Docs would know that they're durable as hell and very good quality. Made in England. With non-slip, chemical resistant soles.
Another alternative to Timberlands or Lugz.
Main difference is that these Docs (1460 smooth blacks) aren't very thick from the bottom of the sole to the top of the toe so its nice and slim compared to other boots. Easier to shift with slim toe height.

I like the Docs a little more than the Tims just 'cause they're a bit less bulky. And, they flex a little more for easier shifting. Still nice and sturdy when laced up.

Can't agree more. This is what i wear every time i go out. Plus they are super comfy the first time you put them on
