what would be different about swapping a d16z6 and a d16y8 into my 1991 crx si??

 

Not too much, basically the main differences will be in the wiring. Depends on how you want to run the motor. As far as mounting and such, either motor will drop in with the same ease.

 

I know about the mounts I am just confused on the whole difference since one is ODD1 and one is OBD2.....I know Ihave seen jumpers harnesses for obd1 to obd0 and obd 2 to obd1 and was wondering how much harder it would be to wire up the D16y8 thanx

 

use a 88-91 crx si distributor change the injectors and get a vtec subharness from hasport 88-91 si computer and a vtec controller and you are good to go.

 

oh yeah ...that easy huh.....if I did that I could use my stock d16a6 ecu then right??
