Default Dynamic Autosport header install and questions...........

Well, i finally got my JDM style dynamic autosport header on this weekend, after it sat in my room for about 2 months now, well i gotta say its awsome quality , and i felt a huge difference with it on! The only drawback is my exhaust is now buzzy, i put on a 2.5" magnaflow high flow cat, i thought this would quiet it down some but no luck. Any way as you'll see in the pics it hangs LOW on my b16, which i knew and expected, but ive seen johnzm i think it was who had a shield that he fab'ed and i was wondering if there is something that i can do like that without a welder?Any help would be appreciated! TIA.
Off the car...

See what i mean....

you are seriously going to hate life when you drive that car with the header that low.

you are going to not to want to even drive anywhere.

i speak from experience.

I'd have to agree with SkRiblah. I have some DC JDM 4-1 and they sit pretty low...I hate rollin up into a parking lot...I always hit em

They look good though!!

Way to keep it positive
I drive eveywhere and didn't hit it once today, plus this weekend im installing my omni coilovers so i can raise the car up a little if i have to. I think i should be alright, i've already driven down some pretty bad roads.

I guess part of why it hangs so low on a B16 is the fact that it's made for a B18 and as the two blocks have different deck heights with the B18 beeing 8.8mm taller than the B16 the header will hang lower when used on a B16, 8.8mm to be excact. There should be plenty of oil pan to header clearance thogh

Well even the stock jdm itr one sits about this low, its just the fact that its made for A longer B18 block as pondus described.

EXCELLENT HEADER! I love this header so much. I was so sad when I had to sell it though. It made awesome power up top on my B16 with bolt ons. Only downside is that it does hang extremely low. It is made for a GSR which has a taller deck height which was mentioned above. The header is made really well. Super thick flanges, thick piping, etc etc. Ive beat the the hell out of that header, and it held up. Definately raise your car up if you dont want to damage that header though. Still is silver, just wait till you drive it a little more. Will turn into an amazing gold color.

There's nothing worse than having a header that hangs to low. I had a gsr header on my JDM B16 in my crx and when i was done driving it, it wasn't a 4-1 anymore... it was a 4-Zero. Almost flat.
It did make some flippin' sweet sparks though
