i have a '93 vtec prelude, whats my stock ecu, p13, p28????? i wanna use uberdata will i have to get a new chip or just follow there instructions on what to do????

I am doing a swap in my 93 si, from a h23 to a h22, do I need the p13 ecu to control the vtec, or can I use a p28?
Hope I'm not stealing a thread.....

Don't use Uberdata garbage......buy some real tuning soft/hardware.

So can a p28 be used on a prelude, I know I've used them in my civics but this is my first prelude, I don't think than can be, but is it poss? Cause i have like 5 of them lol.

 

Chipped and tuned, yes.

It will idle your motor till you get a P13 or a chipped P28 of some kind. There are a few places that can chip your P28 and flash an H22 base map on it for example phearable.net. With a P28 you will lose the IAB functions though.

I will have a JDM P13 F/S as soon as I find a P28 to chip and tune for my setup.

 

well after my trail period, i'll ask around for a p13, but thanks for the info.

 

P13's are kinda a bitch for tuning.
P28 are cheap and lots of tuning support.

 

P28s have really come down in price!
