Default Valve timing off - Car feels like stock Si.

Okay, latley my car feels weak. Like no power. Well always ive only put 1500KM on it.

Now the valve timing, i decided to check it.

After i found the marks on the crank, theres 4 little ticks, 1 tick all by itself then 3 together. The 1 by itself must line up with the mark on the timing belt cover right...???

Then i look at my cam gears, and there way off. Well the exhaust cam needs to turn counte clockwise 1 tooth, and the intake cam needs to turn clockwise 1 tooth for them to line up.

So my timing is off.. Thing is ive never done a T-Belt before, and need to drive my car to school tommorow, I already have the valve cover off, is it just a matter of losening the tensoner, and lining everything up?

Thanks, i can do this tommorow night when i have more time and daylight, or i can tackle it tonight. Before i start it ill turn it over by hand to make sure evreything is cool.

This would be great if this is my no power problem!! Its a B18C BTW.

loosen the tensioner and line up the cam gears "up" and the crank bolt(pulley)with the mark on the cover.

is an easy thing good luck.

did this just happen? how can the cam gears be tooth off?

no from day 1 the swap felt weak. I guess the guy who did the timing before didnt know what he was doing.

Lucky im running 10:1 Cr and Small cams so there was no valve to piston problems.
