Default Checking Ecu Codes.

Alright.

I have a obd1 converosin using blown90hatches harness.

When i ground the wire to check for codes, my check engine light comes on and stays on if there are no codes, if there are codes it will flash the code.

It should come on and stay on when i ground the wire if there are no codes right?

Or does that mean bad ecu or something?

Yeah, if you have no codes, and ground that wire, it will be a solid CEL.
