Default Pic of Horribly Crashed EG...

This pic is from a post over in the "Kills" forum - guy was doing roughly 75 mph when his car smashed into a wall after a motorcycle went through the windshield.

The guy on the thread says that the motorcycle caused the accident.

The driver is unconscious and his girlfriend was killed.

That truly sucks, and I'd BETTER not see some BULLSHIT posts like "dumbass shouldn't have been going fast, etc."

We all speed from time to time, and who knows? He could have been doing the speed limit - this was in Thailand.

It was in Thailand.

Nathan's Boosted Civic posted the subject up in the KIlls forum - he knows the guy. Nathan would probably have more details than I.

Totally off topic about my old avatar, but no biggie...check the topics and I'll start a new one - you won't be able to miss it. I'll start the topic in the members' corner.

Thanks.

now that i think about that post about advantages of having an EG, here is a disadvantage; they're not all that safe. god, that must be a seriously horrifying experience to go through....

Never drive a hatch? Same thing would have happened in a Coupe you DA!

Did anyone notice that the rear wheel is missing?

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure that ANY modern unibodied sub-compact car would have folded up like that hatch did - to say that it folded up like that JUST because it was a hatch is pretty dumb.

Trey - I can't really tell, but don't those studs on the rear look sheared off? Nathan's Boosted Civic on H-T knows the guy and the car - I'm sure he knows what happened there...
