lowering with stock springs
im not sure about this but i heard you get older accord front shocks and civic wagon shocks for the rear and its good for about a 2" drop on crx/EF
true? or correct me if im wrong.
i found stuff about the accord shocks in the front but not too many people know about the rear. the whole point is to drop it a little while still having the stock springs.

By changing the springs most people are looking for a stiffer spring rate as well as lowering. A stiffer rate is something you wont get with factory springs(not enough anyways).
Imagine being lowered and having a stock spring rate going over some long rolling bumps, or cornering. You'd be bouncing like crazy, instead of hugging the road.

i live near detroit and i cant stand having coilovers. i had to take sidestreets to work and i memorized which streets i could drive on. i whether want a nice set of springs and the accord/wagon shocks or just have it a little lower with the stock springs. do you think it would be bad to have stock springs with the accord/wagon setup? its not gonna be a race car, i just dont want to be monster truckin.
Get some Koni Yellow shocks, they have the adjustible pearch height that allows for slight lowering. then get some Ground Control upper mounts that extend the shock travel so the shocks don't bottom out.
