Default Difference between NSX-T and NSX?

Can someone tell me the differences? I'm looking to buy, I'd just like to know. I've seen a used NSX-T significantly cheaper then the newer NSX, so I'm trying to compare, thanks in advance.

Go FAQ yourself. BTW, almost all of NSX sold in US after 1997 are Targa-tops except few exceptions and 50 zanardi editions.

NSX = fixed-roof Coupe (although the term is sometimes used to describe the coupe or the NSX-T)
NSX-T = removable roof panel

All '91-94 NSX and all 50 of the '99 Zanardi NSX are the fixed roof coupe. All '02-05 and almost all (around 99 percent) '95-01 are NSX-T.

lke others have said your 'newer NSX' is an NSX-T. It's highly unlikely you will find any coupe after 95 except the Zanardi models mentinoed above, as anything else would have to be special order.

Comparing the coupe vs the NSX-T of the same year, the actual difference is 95 pounds (43 kg).

The '97-01 6-speed NSX-T weighs 3164 pounds; the '97-01 6-speed NSX Coupe weighs 3069 pounds.

The '97-01 automatic NSX-T weighs 3208 pounds; the '97-01 automatic NSX Coupe weighs 3113 pounds.

Official curb weights, per Acura's published specs.

(Note: The limited edition '99 Zanardi NSX weighs 3015 pounds, but it has additional weight-reduction features not available in the NSX-T.)

Interestingly enough, they called it a T as opposed to the full 'Targa' term, because Porsche has that word copyrighted

Well.....i think you're talking about USA....in Europe is very difficult to find a "T"

a friend has recently bought a 97 from a guy that had 3 NSX's, 97, 98 and 2004-07... all of them are coupe... all of them bought new, 0km ...
the 2004 is absolutly beautifull (stock)..... his 98 is converted to the 02+ front with huge rims ....both yellow ones....the 97 (which my friend bought) is red with red roof....
