Default Alternator keeps frying ? ? ? ?

I have a 2000 HONDA CIVIC with 21k miles.
I have a Jackson Racing Supercharger that was installed and the individual that installed it said that the wiring under the hood in the area of the supercharger had to be rewired.
There is a part on my alternator made of plastic that is melting causing the connection to the alternator and the wire to be lost. The alternator has been replaced twice now with the same part going bad. Does anyone have any ideas why this occurs.
HONDA hasn't voided my warranty but will not warranty this repair.

There is an actual plastic piece that is connected to the alternator itself on the bottom end of it. This piece keeps melting.

Thank you tooqwik1 for your suggesstion. I was offered this advise by someone else that it is not getting enough ground. How can I increase the amount of ground so I can get rid of this problem?

Did you check to see if that part was getting good air circulation? It could also be that the supercharger is putting more strain or spining too fast the belt and pully. The result is overheating alternator and heat dissipating near the plastic. I would email Jackson Racing for any pros and cons.
