mod list:

stock low mile 10.4 CR JDM B16A (head never been off block)
Thompson Engineering MegaTube intake
JG overbored 68-64 mm throttle body
JDM ITR intake manifold
Hondata sheilded intake manifold gasket
JUN/Maxim 4-2-1 header
big test pipe (bigger JDM donut) from Adrian Teo
Z.SPEED prototype 60 mm N1 racing exhaust
Z.SPEED cam gears (+2, 0)
Z.SPEED titanium retainers
Z.SPEED valve springs
ITR lost motion assemblies
JUN stage 3 cams, lashed @ .007" in. .008" ex.
Chevron Supreme 10W30 oil
MSD 6A ignition box
MSD Blaster 3 external coil
Magnecor R-100 10 mm spark plug wires
Magnecor R-100 10 mm external coil wire
NGK R V-Power ZFR7F-11 copper plugs .055" gap
JDM P30 ECU w/Mugen Group-A 66CC program
17 degrees timing
Walbro high pressure 255 liter/hr fuel pump
B&M adjustable FPR (50 psi no vacuum reference)
Field SFC-VTEC (-12 -10 -12 -10 2 2 2 2 5500)
Clutch Masters aluminum flywheel 8 lbs
Clutch Masters stage 3 clutch (full face Kevlar)
99 Canadian ITR tranny w/factory LSD
Redline MTL tranny fluid
dyno on hx wheels 185/65/14 (28 lbs w/tires)
tuned by DNR (thanks Dave)

final output SAE 185/117 flat curve from 6000-8400 power peak 8300-8600 makes power to 9500 rpm. might mess with hondata or uberdata next time but this Mugen ecu works awesome on b16a. torque curve is flat before and after vtec with good transition too.

over 190/120 uncorrected in 65deg weather

shoot man, thats nice. a bit more injector, head porting and a point of compression... I am sure you can touch 195SAE or so with that setup
maybe 200 high strung b16s are fun!

Hey Frank....

When's g-speed.com gonna be back up?

Love to see pix of the EG2 again..... particularly the Thompson intake.....where can I get one? I don't even see it on the Endyn components link....

Great numbers and info!

long story short the last colo "sold" my server with out advising me... so i've lost a lot of old content. really sucks... all that years of web work... i have some goodies to restore, and thanks to cache, most data can be retrived manually.

i was pretty surprised at how good the curve came out... this motor revs effortlessly and likes it all the way to 9500rpm. i wonder how much a DTR header and a DNR ported intake manifold would help the top end even more.

notice the old Z.SPEED prototype exhaust... i love it so much. too bad it's a a bit loud for daily driving. but it sounds so awesome at the track.

when you say SAE corrected does this translate to BHP or are the numbers still in WHP?

it is wheel hp still. bhp is 210+ easily or 217 to be exact using 15% drivetrain loss on B engines on dynojet.

nice set of mods you have, but i thought hx wheels were 13s? Either way nice numbers and I love seeing Del Sols with swaps, seems like not enough people do those now adays

imo yes... we "bolted" on the valve train parts (ITR LMA, cams, springs, retainers) and put it back together in about 4 hours doing it at a nice kick back pace. no machine work what so ever on the engine.

He evidently does not want to divuldge the origins of his megatube.....

some more info can be found on Endyn's site however.....

Maybe ghettoracer himself will chime in later on.....
