Type R Flywheel and B16 Cable Tranny?

Type R Flywheel and B16 Cable Tranny?

Are all B series flywheels interchangable? I would like to put a Civic Type R flywheel into my 1st gen B16. Has anyone done this before?

yes b-series flywheels are interchangeable. differences are in weight and some have six bolt holes for pressure plate while others have only six..no biggie

i think he means some have nine holes and some have six. older have nine.

Is that going to be a problem or there's just going to be less mounting holes? Thanks for the help
