where is the vin number located on the engine? is it visible when the engine is in the car?

 

The block number is on the front (side of closest the the front bumper) of the block, on the left side. It is visible while the motor is in the car. As far as VIN numbers there is one right in front of your radiator and on the driver's side under your windshielf (these are blue badges). HTH

 

Get under your car and look under the motor. You should see it pretty close to your left axle bar
