Default Induction kit-rattles

I have installed a new induction kit into my 94 prelude, and the cone filter part at the end of it has a tight fit between the battery and the side of the car.. IT sometimes rattles when car is idle.. Does anyone have this problem and is there a cone filter I can get that is small as all the prelude ones I have seen are big?

is it a cold air or a short ram intake? if its cold air, the pipe is supposed to go down into the hole next to the battery with the filter in the hole..

Relocate the battery to the trunk and loose the body kit. That will solve your problems...

if it's just the rattling that bothers you then you can get some epoxy or silicone and put it in between the battery and air filter tip (not the element) and basically secure it, but when you clean the element or replace the battery then your going to have to cut it and reapply it. just throwing out suggestions

Stick a piece of foam or cardboard between the filter and the battery.

Problem solved.

Yeah you can just move your battery to the trunk... it's not too hard to do and you're taking off a lot of weight that's hanging over the fron t of your wheels to the back in the process!!

are you sure that the rattling is coming from there? my 97 ludes intake pipe rattles cause it sits right on the strut bump, I need to put some foam under it again. check to see if that is what yours is doing, if it is then just go to home depot and get some weather stripping and use that.
