Default Anyone installed a Fluidyne slim radiator fan?

Aluminum Koyo radiator arrived the other day. It is a thing of beauty (about 4 times as thick as the stock unit).
I installed it without a hitch, but with only one stock fan (driver's side) so far due to clearance issues. Anyways, has anyone installed or is anyone familiar with Fluidyne slim radiator fans? I have an 11" one that has plastic straps (among other miscellaneous parts) for mounting and no documentation. By the looks of things, it seems I'll have to punch through the radiator "fins" and route the plastic straps through the radiator (anchored by cusions on both sides) to fasten the fan to it? Is this correct? Am I missing something? I don't want to be punching through this nice new radiator. I'll probably fabricate a mount or get the stock fan to fit somehow.
Thanks for any info.

I wouldn't use the clip/plastic thingies.

Go to home depot/lowes/etc and buy some strip steel, bend it up, and make a bracket. Might not be super pretty, but better than the other options. I bet if you try hard, it'll look ok. Seen my battery tray in the copcar? That's the metal stuff I'm talking about.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you give for the Koyo radiator and where did you purchase it?

Hmmm I think I did but I don't remember (because, you know, I'm missing brain cells). But that's okay 'cause I think I've got all I need here. Thanks.

If you like those KOYO all aluminum radiators then you can get a extremely good deal at http://www.radiator.com . Use coupon# AC116 for $20.00 off your purchase.
