Well I took a look at some of the other posts and I am just not sure if it matches my problem. I have a 93 Honda Civic LX 1.5L and I am having a startup problem with different symtoms depending on weather and wether the car has been running.

In cold weather I get the classical clicking sound but it typically starts up, but not always sometimes I have to get a jump.

Warm weather - Turns over after a 2 seconds. No clicking.

Typical nice spring day 1.5 seconds. No clicking.

After driving my car 5-10 minutes or so, once I turn it off it does not start back up. In the past I would let it sit 30 minutes and then it would start up week but it would go. Today, no cigar. Car wouldn't turn over. When I got a jump it started up right away.

I've looked all on the internet at starter problems but my car sounds unique. The voltage is fine on the battery but I need to check the amps as someone recommended in another forum. I call shops around where I live and they want me to hook it up to their computer for 100 bucks. I think I'd almost rather buy a new battery and then an alternator before shelling out 100 bucks to a software man.

i would replace the alternator, it sounds like that is the problem in the later of your story, the cold though is still pretty odd.
