i tried searching but couldnt find anything

i bout a pair of power spoon style mirrors. and the other day i saw a good deal on some carbon fiber spoon style mirrors but they where not power. is there a way to take the motor out and switch it around or would that be too much hassle. and just get power carbon fiber.

never tried to disassemble the Spoon mirrors but i did take apart my CTR mirrors and busted the glass out of one of them. dont know how hard it would be for the Spoon mirrors but CTR mirrors were a pain in the *** to take apart. i took mine apart just to get them painted.

also if the mirrors you are trying to use for the power mirrors are not power to begin with then they might not have predrilled holes for the screws that hold the motor in. so if there is no raised predrilled holes you will be screwing the screws straight through to the outside of the mirror.

more trouble than its worth. i would just stick with the ones i already bought.
