Default FIA approved?

Any of the following seats FIA approved? Spoon/Mugen/Buddy Club? I have only noticed Brides and Sparco. I would guess Recaros also.

I still use one, with the add of a seat back brace the seat becomes legal for NASA.

All Recaro race seats - the real race seats - are FIA homologated.

Please get a hold of me if you want a good deal and great service on Recaro seats. I can help on the tech side as well as the sales/service side. We also sell Sparco but right now they are not shipping very quickly (manufacturer issue). Feel free to PM me with a phone number and I'll call you concerning your needs.

I also have access to many manufactures so let me know what you need.

Don't worry, I won't need a V8 for what I am planning. I am putting the same amount of effort into the HC car that we put into our Blue #29 AI car.....who said that a 4 door HC car won't work?

now if you want a seat let me know......

To compete in a SCCA event, do they check if your seat is approved? Depends on what class you run in?

Yes i know they do.

I think that if the seat isn't approved it just needs a seat back brace. at least thats in road racing.

I have absolutly no clue in autoX, but id guess it puts you into some defferent class as the SCCA autoX rules seem to be very tite

Depends on what kind of SCCA event you're participating in.

Autocross doesn't need any kind of rating.

um certainly not merris earlier this year

personnaly I would recommend some Sparco Sprints. there cheap last long and are relatively comfortable for a fixed seat. But I also recommend them in black as the colors get dirty and fade on all seats.

In road racing you must have a approved seat and a seat back brace. The cheif sturt gave a talk about that when I didnt had on my back brace.

I've seen those seat back braces that clamp onto your roll bar/cage, and I had a question. Does the brace have to bolt onto the seat, or do they just touch the seat backs? I don't want to drill holes in my seats...
