Help. Clutches in cable b16's. What the hell fits.
ive got a cable b16 in my crx. In regard to clutches and pressure plates, does it really matter what jdm cable tranny it is for b16s
j1 s1 etc.....
the bitches at optionautosalon.com say each kind of b16 cable tranny gets a different clutch/pressure plate

b16a cables use the 90-91 teg disc. all bseries plates are the same. there are I believe some YS1's that use the 92-93 disc. maybe someone will confirm this
heres what ive heard, all pressure plates the same, 90-91 disc 92-01 disc only difference between 92-93 and 94-01 are throwout bearings so the disc should be the same for 92-01 just the throwout bearing changes from 93 to 94
ok, cable b series trannies:
jdm and usdm s1,a1,y1 and j1 = 90-91 rs/ls/gs integra cltuch small spline
jdm ys1 and usdm ys1 gsr = any 92 and big spline clutch gsr
usdm ys1 non gsr= any 92 up clutch gsr or no, only diff is stronger pressure plate.
