Default is it a must to use a fuel pressure regulator when using a ctr pistons in a b16a2

we have recently put together a b16a2 with buddy club 3+ cams and ctr pistons we put the timing back to adjust to the pistons but it is still giving pre egnition...would that be because of the fuel being used?? (octane) or lack of fuel pressure since we haven't done anything to the fuel system???

could be either, octone or lack of fuel , you need to get some sort of fuel help i.e fuel regulator/guage, or apexi VAFC

just pumping up the fuel pressure to maybe 3 bars and a 1/2 and chip tunning would be enought???
