Default problems whith my gsr rebuild

i have just rebuilt my integra gsr engine. i put new type-r pistons and all new valve train and a skunk2 intake manafold, but im haveing a few problems

problem 1. after getting my engine all back togather i started the engine and it is idleing at 2k and wont seem to go do evan after running for some time. the only thing i can think of it being is the timming.

problem 2. i installed a new timming belt to exact specs as said in my book and every thing seemed fine but after running the engine the timming belt is loose between the exhoust cam and crank and vibrates a lot wile running.

problem 3. while my car is not moveing the speed tack says im going 18 mph i think it is the speed sensor but it was fine befor i did the rebuild so im at a losse for what is wrong.

if any one can help me or has any ideas on what is wrong plz resopnd thank you.

Thats some weird problems man.. did you check your timing? Sensors all plugged in the correct locations? (Use a Helms manual to identify) When you changed the belt, did you change the tensioner too?

1. I think you have an air leak somewhere on the intake manifold. Use carb cleaner to locate. Or the throttle cable could be binding somewhere. Check timing .

2. For the timing belt issue try adjusting the timing belt tensioner.

3. I have a mechanical vss sorry can't help you with that.

1. try adjusting the idle screw on your throttle body, is the throttle body stock or modified? Dont overtighten your throttle cable, there should be slack on there!!

2. You didn't install your Timing belt right, sorry to say. You need to redo it, the most important thing when installing the Timing belt is to get the best tension between the exhaust cam gear and the crank gear, if you dont tighen that area first, your t-belt will flop around at high rpm and end up breaking, and then your are going to be in big $$time trouble$$. Fix it before it fixes your wallet.
