What clutch?
Well, I my clutch is toast. So I guess I will be in the market for a new one. Just to get a idea, what kind of clutches are you guys using and suggest to use on a stock ITR?
Action clutch works great on high performance motors. We could offer you custom spec pressure plate with a 6 puck disc(street/strip) or a 4 puck disc (race). We also have this clutch on our 11s all motor race car. Please give me a call at the office. also please remind me you're an honda-tech member that has the ITR.
thank you
thank you
exedy organic...it's the one I'm going to be getting soon...think about changing to a lightweight flywheel at the same time since it's right there
Dave @ R&D has a special on a Toda Flywheel/Exedy Clutch for about $750...

Thanks fellas. I just got off the phone with the dealer and he told me they would have to check it out. He said that if there is something broke (like a spring and what not) it will be covered, but if it is worn out (which I doubt) I'll have to buy a new one. If that is the case, I will be talking to you guys in the near future.
I would love to change clutches and get a new flywheel, but with it being the holidays I think a free clutch sounds alot better than spending $750 and then more having it put in.

they have to do the labor anyway...ask the tech doing it to put in the new one instead of the old one...if you're dealer is cool, they'll let you...
adding the fly would include no more labor either, as it needs to be disconnected from the old clutch anyway (if they are replacing it)

I would love to get a whole new TODA clutch and flywheel, but chrismas killed me this year. I am dropping it off at the dealer in a about a hour and they said they are only going to be able to POSSIBLY look at it cause they are swamped.
The only thing I am afraid of is that I have today, thurs, and fri (probably going to be closed on New Years Eve and New Years, not sure though) to get my car fixed and I'm not sure if a new flywheel would be here by fri.

I would do the whole thing at once though (Flywheel clutch) just to save on install charges later on.
