Default tell me what you guys think??

well i have a gsr motor that got revved to high and dropped a valve which the piston slaped up on the head. The block was fine(i think, didnt really take it apart but spins fine and bearings seem to be in place) but the piston got a little indentation from the collisoion with the valve., Now, i was thinking about putting a turbo, but my friend said that wasnt a very good idea, since the piston would be able to hanlde that much stress. What do u guys think?? I will probably just run like 6-8 pounds of boost. thanx you guys.

Dropping a valve is never good. Before you do anything, you should take the motor apart and see how much actual damage has been done. Don't even think about boosting before you repair your motor.

Rebuild! New pistons are needed period end of arguement! The valve slap could have damaged your rod bearings and even though it spins now it could cause some problems in the furture.....you need to rebuild the engine and get your self some dished pistions for the boost!
