Someone here locally in Cincinnati is selling a (set of skunk2 stage 1 cams) for a H22a motor... How can I tell if they are real skunk2 cams? do they have skunk2 stamped on them? Or is there some markings that can prove authenticity? Thanks pics would help also.

 

I believe their should be a S2 some place on the camsafts

 

I heard that there is a little bit of paint on them between the lobes?

 

they should be stamped by skunk2 .......i belive the ones with paint between the lobes are the crowers

 

there is no real way of telling but there should be some kind of ingravement on the end of the cam .. i have hoin ingraved on my sk2stg2 cams

not the cam gear side the other side...

hope it's not too late and i'm not sure if it's the same for B series or not... but i just bought a set for my bseries motor...

H01in/H01ex for stage 1
H08in/H08ex for stage 2

mine didn't have either of them... if you look in the middle of the cam in between the lobe, there's a stamped "M"
