Broken Axle or not?
I was driving home and the car klunked and also when I left the car in gear and let off the gas it makes some weird noises. When I got home I was trying to figure it out it seems to clunk when I let out the clutch.I broke the other axle last month so thats why I think it's the axle.
correct me if i'm wrong...but if you're axle broke, i don't think you would have been able to keep driving home. you wouldn't be getting any power to the wheel...therefore the car would not move

True, but maby it is not completely broken, just really close to it.

1. wheel bearing
2. try GM syncroweb? (i think thats the name) drain your tranny refill. Will notice a diffrance after 100miles.
My car is doing the same thing so I'm about to go threw this.
just my $.02

Synchromesh, is that what you mean? I put that in when I changed trannies but you came up with a good point. I should check the tranny fluid.

im willing to bet that when you drain the fluid there will be chunks or flakes of metal in the tranny.. sounds like the differental is going. you said "lsd" what brand are you running? i had an LS stock diff go out (open), the spider gears were destroyed, but still worked enough to drive, every now and then would make extremely loud clunks especially when turning, finally decided it was going to do more damage and took it apart, the spider gear "teeth" were floating around inside, the magnet was covered with chunks/flakes of metal and the case was ground down where pieces went around the ring gear..
*edit* also i'd research the gm synchromesh.. i asked about it and was told not to run it.
