i own a 97 2.2 CL and a few days ago, i inserted a CD into my player and it went in but spat it right back out with the radio code PE0. can anyone tell me what that means? thanks.

 

Sorry, not trying to be a bastard here or anything, but I would post this in the Audio forum if you haven't already done so. You'll probably get more responses there.

My guess, and I don't know **** about the insides of the cd player, is that the mechanism that holds the cd in place is messed up. Are you under warranty, and is it a factory cd player?

 

Was it a burned CD by chance? Sometimes you can get error readings on those.
