Sticking throttle body

Default Sticking throttle body

My throttle body is sticking closed, i have to puch the peddle down hard to get it to open, this is on t a JDM B16A what can i do to loosen it up?

Adjust the throttle-stop (its an allen screw/nut underneath the throttle pulley.) It's probably adjusted too far out. its kind of a pain, so be patient. On my b18c1, it was a 7mm nut and a small allen key.

and also make sure there isn't alot of carbon build up where the butterfly plate stops. Sometimes a ring of it builds up and makes the plate get sticky

TY both of you, i removed the TB, and scrubbed the carbon off, and the throttle stop was ill adjusted, just letting the throttle close completely, and I removed the dashpot...i hate em
