For Sale: 04 CBR600RR Red, 303 Miles, Lots of Goodies...
Hey Guys,
As you might remember me, I got my bike in July but as you guys can tell have not been riding much. I only have 303 miles and have actually decided to sell the bike due to lack of time of riding it, I really don't want to but I look at it like I rarely ride.
The bike is a 2004 CBR 600rr, with 303 miles on it. It's not even broken in, it's clean and has been pampered a whole lot. I have a lot of goodies on it, I was hoping to get it ready for track, but instead decided on selling it since I am getting into SCCA racing.
I'm located in Glendale, CA.... I am currently taking Reasonable Offers... Feel free to PM me with offers..... I'm in NO rush to sell the bike but would love to
Looking for $8400 or obo... Includes 5 Year Extended Warranty (6 years total), all stock parts and goodies....
Mods include:
OEM Honda Seat Cowel

Your asking too much money. I could walk out the door with a left over RR for 8k flat around here. Not to mention the 05's are only 8,799.
For everyone that can't see the pictures, here's a link to the 600rr.net post... Everything seems to be working fine there... Ironically, it's showing up on my machine though.

The bike is very nice bike and is clean as well... Unfortunately, I'm looking to sell it because I just don't have time to ride it and I am planning on getting into SCCA racing. I hope you guys like the bike, and if anyone is interested please feel free to PM me.

You can get a pampered 600rr with 300 miles.... 5 year factory warranty.... all other common mods (cleanly installed) for $8000 out the door. That sounds like a very good deal to me, if I was in upstate NY I would jump on that deal. Too good to be true though... but if true then yes I admit that is a great deal.

Good Call, I totally agree with you. Thanks...

i'd be willing to take it off of your hands for the right price, but i doubt that youd be willing to come below $7k since your asking price is so f'n high.
I would put the reflectors back on, that would get you a quick ticket on the street, not to mention how unsafe that would be riding at night. so the only mods on there are frame sliders FE, and turn signals, correct? It's gonna be a tuff sale with the '05s so close to release. Good luck.
Free bump.

Well, you still haven't PMed me with an offer for me to know if its reasonable or not. Obviously if you think your going to get a bike as clean as mine, with all the simple & properly installed modifications, all the stock parts (I still have all the reflectors and other parts you are obviously interested in), with the EXTENDED 5 Year Warranty for under $7000 then your wrong. I don't think you will find a deal better than this, obviously the starting price is a little higher than usual but there is room to for both parties to come to a reasonable agreement.
If you think about going and buying an '05, your looking at about $8,799 + tax and liscense + $800 (extended 5 year warranty - if your smart) + basic modifications (oem seat cowl, installed frame sliders, fender eliminator, etc...) = Easily around the Mid-9000 to Low-10,000.... If you get an INCREDIBLE DEAL on everything.... Good luck getting such an incredible deal on everything, especially when they first are released.
So that leads me to say... the bike for sale is the closest thing to a brand new, low mileage, with a few necessary mods (in my opinion) plus all the stock parts and the extended warranty. If your serious and you would honestly want to work out a smart deal, then feel free to PM me, but only serious inquiries. This bike is obviously not VERY cheap but is reasonably priced so that both parties can come to a reasonable deal.
After all..... You get what you pay for....

Yup, my F4i is still for sale. I use it most days to commute to and from work tho, so the milage will change daily. Right now the milage is at about 8600.
