Any swap (DOHC) you do is going to beat him if he's only running 9.6 and you have a single cam running 9.9. My friend has a '93 hatch full interior w/ system. B16 i/h/e/test pipe, light weight flywheel, clutch. Our other friend has a 2002 Type-S w/ i/e/pulley, and the hb is slightly faster (maybe half a car).

BTW, why limit yourself to the Type-S. Go for something faster. At least if you are going to swap, look at beating something faster than an RSX . Not that they aren't quick, but with a gutted hatch and some mods, you should kill an RSX.
