Default Is this a good deal?

I've been looking at bikes since spring, and it seems to be a good time to buy one - albeit I won't be riding it in the snow.
My question is this. I'm looking to pay 3500 or less unless the bike comes with gear (then up to 4000). This will be my first bike, and it will be a 600cc bike...don't try to persuade me otherwise. I came down from my original plans for a 900cc Fireblade. Anyway, I reeeaaaallly like the F4i and I found one for 3350. It's a 2001 model. However, it has 16,000 miles and I was hoping to buy something with under 10,000 miles. Should I stick with my 10,000 mile requirement or buy this bike?
By the way, Ford sucks. The engine in my F-150 is about to die after only 100,000 miles. Grrrrrrr.
Thanks for any info.

if the title is clean (not a salvage title) then i would say its a fair deal

A 2001 f4i for 3,350? Is the dude retarded selling it? Buy that bike, definately worth it. The bike should sell for at least $4g around here. I have a 2001 F4i with about 7,000 miles, but I'd sell it for about $4,500. (Has mods)

Ask about the bike being dropped, or laid down. Sounds pretty cheap for an F4i.

16k miles isn't a big deal. imo, with normal mileage like that, it's probably more commuting miles than stunting or anything. hell, i have 16k miles on my 2003 right now.

same here in Florida. I bought my 2001 F4i for $4800 and that was a steal for the condition/mileage. You can't find them often for less than $5000 in perfect condition under 10kmiles.
