No, Hondata and Uberdata are designed to allow you to custom tune them around the mods you have on your car at the time. What your brother has for his bike is basically a Power Programer like Hypertech sells for cars. A hondata type system is still better for a car than a programer type system is....it's just not as simple to use and install. At this time no one makes a power programmer for Honda's...doubt they will either.

No, it can be done with most any ECU equipped with an external EPROM and an EPROM emulator.

i already am aware of that as i tune my cars with software that is covered there...but what he is talkig about is a device that plugs in and alters the program on teh fly, such as the MANY devices available for Domestics, with those you plug it into teh ecu or plg it in inline between teh ecu and the harness, and thenc an alter inputs and outputs much like a vafc, but more extensive.

the hondata romulator does this. you basically would have to tune your car for each configuration but then after that you could just load them up kinda like what youre saying.

I tune my hondata on the road with wideband. And I use the romulator..Everything can be changed on the fly (real time programmning). Maybe not exactly like his setup since I do need an emulator..but still..
